Official Launch of Pacific Quay Headquarters
i2detail distributed invitations using BBC Scotland’s databases and coordinated guest lists for both events simultaneously. i2detail prepared hand-written calligraphy place cards, table plans, menus, running orders and name badges.
In view of Prime Minister, Gordon Brown’s attendance at the official launch and luncheon, confidentiality and security were of the utmost importance.
i2detail were in attendance for the duration of both events to meet and greet VIP guests, help security check guests and ensure every aspect of both events ran smoothly leaving the BBC hosts to look after their VIP guests.

The Assignment
BBC Scotland wished to mark the launch of its new Pacific Quay headquarters by hosting a series of events in September 2007.
i2detail were commissioned to manage the gala celebration of 50 years of television news being broadcast by BBC Scotland held in Studio A and the official launch of its Pacific Quay HQ by Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.
Guests included BBC Scotland news readers past and present, Scottish politicians, BBC Scotland senior management and members of the media and corporate Scotland.
