The Event

VIP & Press Launch of The National Self Build & Renovation Centre Swindon

As an initial phase i2detail compiled manufacturers databases, organised sales presentations, corresponded with exhibitors and collated exhibitor contracts.

During Phase 2 i2detail worked with BuildStore’s design agency to create invitations for both the VIP & Press launch and the Preview Week for their partner exhibitors, followed by distribution of invites, RSVPs and management of guest lists.

Close liaison took place with celebrity guest Tommy Walsh, BuildStore’s Marketing Director, PR Agent, caterers and resident sponsor Potton. i2detail advised on timely scheduling of the event and best use of the excellent space at the new centre, ensuring it was showcased to maximum potential. i2detail provided hostesses throughout to ensure the launch ran smoothly.

The Assignment

BuildStore is the UK’s leading supplier to the self build market.

BuildStore commissioned i2detail to manage all aspects of the VIP & Press Launch for their new 67,000 sq ft National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon. A Preview Week for in excess of 220 exhibitor organisations and their guests was an additional phase included in the client’s programme.

400 guests
