i2detail identified venues respecting specified criteria and prepared the outline budget for approval by Scottish Executive. The event was marketed to SSDF’s database and i2detail processed delegate registrations. i2detail sourced a stationery sponsor, OTC, who kindly provided recycled paper for the comprehensive delegate packs and ballot papers. i2detail worked with Edinburgh Farmers’ Market, which provided a complimentary hamper for the end of day prize draw.
The conference had several elements - two panel debates chaired by Ian Macwhirter, Journalist and Hugh Raven, Sustainable Development Commission, presentations by Richard Wakeford, Head of Scottish Executive Environment & Rural Affairs and Elizabeth Leighton of WWF Scotland as well as breakout sessions to facilitate group discussions and idea exchange.
i2detail organised the Plenary set up, oriented delegates, operated the sound desk, supervised the vote count, co-ordinated high quality delegate feedback and ensured the day ran efficiently and on schedule.
