i2detail designed with Hamish Taylor a model Skills Exchange Day which has been successfully implemented at subsequent SXN training events. Five fast-moving workshops ensure delegates remain motivated for optimum learning throughout the day.
i2detail contributed to the design of marketing literature, built the database of invitees, worked with the SXN team during the sales process, received delegate payments, secured sponsorship and assisted in sourcing workshop leaders.
Workshop leaders came from very different fields of expertise - listening skills were taught by a Primary School Teacher; Learning new skills by professional athlete and ex-Scottish International rugby captain Andy Nichol; problem solving under pressure was led by Jon, a Captain in the TA who served in Iraq; Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Service were invited to demonstrate how to cope with the unexpected at work and two black belt Olympic Judo instructors showed delegates how to increase efficiency.
As a relaxing end to a busy day i2detail worked with John Lewis’ fashion adviser, putting together a stunning fashion show.
Delegates received a parchment training certificate and delegate bags with promotions and gifts appropriate for the busy PA.
“Thank you very much for all your hard work. Your enthusiasm and ‘eye to detail’ certainly made this an event we can all be proud of and I look forward to working with you in the future.”
